M3 Perfect Slot-1 and Slot-2 for Nintendo DS

August 22nd, 2008

I finally got my paws an M3 perfect bundle and I gave it a quick test last night. I have had my eye on this bundle for quite some time because it offers so much that it seems too good to be true.

This bundle comes with the Slot 1 adapter and a slot 2 flash cartrage that will allow you to play mp3’s, moives, backup copies of you DS games and your Game Boy Advance games.  It also comes with an adapter so you can plug your micro DS card into your computer. It also comes with a rumble pack if you are interesting in giving your hands a nice massage while you play. I did not see any software inside the box so you will have to download it from the M3adapter website.

The website and the box did not have any setup instructions so if you are not computer savy you might be pulling hair out trying to get it all running. Everything did install smooth for me and it did play my backups. One thing to note is that Slot 1 adapter feels really cheap. I am scared that I will break it and it makes my R4 and DSTT seem like tanks.

So is it worth the bling bling you ask? NO!

Just a heads up to anyone reading this article. I bought two M3 Perfect bundles and I am returning both of them. The product is just too cheap on the hardware side, the plastic feels weak and the mechanism that holds your microSD card does not do so well. Both M3’s do not always boot up and you have the hope that it will actually run properly every time you turn it on.  I’m not sure if it was just my units but I’m pretty much done with the M3’s.
