Fatal1ty Headset

September 2nd, 2008

This is the new gaming headset by “Creative” called “Fatal1ty”. I picked this up not to long ago after my eighty dollar Microsoft headset died.

It’s pretty much a typical headset that uses mini headphone connectors for your sound and microphone. It is built sturdy and is very comfortable. The one unique feature that I really do enjoy is the detachable microphone. It works well and is brilliant in my experience with the headset.

I consider the Fatal1ty headset to be an excellent deal at fifty dollars and I am very happy with the mini headphone plugs because it works with a speaker to headphone switch I own.

In the past I have had some annoying issues with windows and UBS headsets so I typically steer clear of them. The only negative thing I can say about this headset is the sound quality is pretty average which shouldn’t be a problem unless you are a sound fanatic. Overall I think comfort is the strong point here. This is just another reason “Creative” remains my favorite company for computer sound devices.
