This is a interesting peice of software I discovered today. It is called Note-It by Veign. It basically uses your desktop as a place to put electronic sticky notes.

Cool hu? I think so considering that you can minimize the notes to a small square and set them transparent. Its a nice way to keep notes at school or work with out having a giant mess of yellow stickies.

Other features you will find are Spell Check, colors, fonts, use it as a clock or and alarm and e-mail them. I actually discovered it after using another piece of software from the same company that I will post later.
